- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆The more difficult (expensive) you make disposing of waste, the less likely people are to do it correctly. Charging Faulkner County residence $65 a ton is ridiculous, especially given that the staff are like vultures scrounging through your stuff for anything of value to resell. There are literally 3 mattresses on the side of the road in the 1/2 mile between my house and Conway City Limits. No wonder, I wouldn't pay $65 to dispose of a mattress either. There really in no incentive for county residence to dispose of waste responsibly given how expensive it is.By Glenn Waterworth, January 03, 2017
